South Carolina's population is 55% women. Their last governor's race went about 55% Republican. Their 46-member senate has 30 Republicans in it. Three of those Republicans are women. Those women opposed and blocked a total ban on abortion in South Carolina in 2022. All three just lost primary races for this year. To men. Next year, the Republican majority in the South Carolina senate will have no women in it. Not one.
