Be me: Have a perfectly fine dish washer.
Proceed to only use it to store dirty dishes until I need them again and wash them by hand. #adhd

@drakulix@social.dreampi.es the dishwasher is clearly for clean dishes. Dirty dishes go everywhere where there is room for them until you've run out of clean dishes - or are so overwhelmed by the dirty dishes everywhere that you have to, right now, empty, fill and turn it on.

@drakulix@social.dreampi.es meanwhile I do start it, but fail to clear it and so live out of the dish washer until it's empty (or I get a burst of "need to clear it"), while the dirty dishes pile up

@drakulix@social.dreampi.es I also wanna point out that the brand new toaster has been sitting literally in the middle of the fucking kitchen doorframe for the whole weekend and we haven’t gotten around to unbox it yet
