@yetiinabox Hmm, I've never considered tomatoes a fruit, but rather a vegetable... But everything else about your post makes my day a little brighter! Thanks for sharing.

@ckd @yetiinabox they're both! a fruit is the seed bearing part of a plant, and a vegetable is something we use in the kitchen and can include many parts of plants or even funghi!

@ckd @yetiinabox Tomatoes are an everyday part of fruit salads in parts of China. They are also used like strawberries in cakes. Local people love the way that foreigners react. I never got used to tomatoes and whipped cream, but found the fruit salad experience to be interesting. I love the original post, too. As a very tall foreigner, I know what it’s like when people choose to be kind.

@ckd @yetiinabox I believe the quote is something like "Intelligence is knowing that tomatoes are technically fruit. Wisdom is not putting them in a fruit salad"
