I dont know who he is. But in the DKIM example there have been standards that went through review and are official yet none of the big guys implemented it. Even if his idea is brilliant and works and is vetted it's possible that companiea such as Cisco won't budge on implementing it  but then years will pass and you'll see a similar proposal with big corp names on it. Getting implemented. That happens i think I dont see how it would work but i think he is right about things like the shittyness of ipv6 and how you have to run ipv4 and ipv6 both and it's true our network services are a hodgepodge of stuff The concept of ipv8 seems better but.. how people would agree to rewrite all the services seems unlikely. ... but 30 years from now it could be true. Actually with AI one day it won't matter because AI will adapt the network autonomously. Opensource software projects will evaporate. There won't be a need to have a group of people working to write an HTTP server, for example. People will just say "i want this thing whatever" and AI will pull it all out if its ass in miliseconds. And then we're on a curve straight up where humanity changes and evolves
