But I also ask myself very often, especially when I read again and again from men like Pelicot, Epstein, Lindemann, now Ulmen, whether it would not be better to just shut down and stay away from men completely (at least from the non-queer ones). How is it even possible to still trust cis men in this world?

And at the same time, I have a deep wish that the men in my environment gave me the feeling that they cared about my friendship. Or that those in my family really saw me and would try to understand me and take me seriously. Or that those men at my workplace reflected on their behaviour and that automatic men’s club formation a little more often and appreciated the social and relationship building work and contributed to it more often. 4/x
