So, here's a thing. I've been trading mark-ups with a vendor for a client on a licensing deal, and the feedback coming back from the vendor has been increasingly weird. Well, I finally got to talk to them today and it turns out they don't have a lawyer and have just been feeding my comments into Claude's new legal macguffin. Which explains why an agreement that should have been sorted out in two days took two months. Apparently Claude thinks I'm a very good lawyer though, so there's that.

@hedders@mas.to Wow, that sounds excruciating! Not a lawyer, but dealt with contracts, I would have serious words with anyone on my side trying something like that! You’re not paying a lawyer for the words on the page.
