@dwardoric @deech I've come fully to the realization (that I kinda already knew) that 98.7% or everyone out there does not take actions based on morals, ethics or principles. It's just not something that is considered. It's just a "plus" or a "nice to have" or "good to know", but not a thing that has influence in a final decision if personal benefit is on the table. Anyone that does is in the fringe and weirdo category. And there are many issues in the world similar to it. It's just another one.

    @vascorsd @deech I don't think it is that bad and believe we are inherently good (read "not assholes by nature"). We live however in a narrative that keeps telling us that we're rational, cold, egoistic people and propaganda works that is a given. Also I'm convinced that a huge point is that we're decoupled of most of the effects of our [bad] decisions. We have to pro-actively research them and in the end decide against convenience. This is hard.
