When people around you drift away during your transition, or just act completely transphobic and/or cut you off, it's actually a blessing. It's an opportunity to look at those people and ask yourself "what red flags have I been ignoring?"
There is not a single person I lost in my transition that I'm not better off without.
They were all flawed, broken people who brought toxicity into my life. And now I'm surrounded by good people who want me in their lives and make an effort for that.
So take it as a blessing, and not a curse. It's better this way.
