Today, after 11 years with #ubuntu I've taken the leap and switched to #debian. It was a few things. Been thinking about it for a while. Increasing RAM requirement for 26.04 (I know it will run on less), enterprise partnership with MS, the planned integration of AI (however thoughtful it may be). I lost trust. One lap top so far and not the daily driver. Getting familiar with it first before I do that. Good opportunity to improve my partition strategy. I never actually had one before so that's something. Settled on KDE Plasma DE. So far so good. Finding my way round. Up and running. Nothing lost. Favourite apps being installed. All good. No complaints.
