Finished Pragmata. Top notch game. I think you can become a little too absurdly OP if you engage with the games items, but it's a super well put together shooter. The ex final boss would be pretty close to Double Bogey from Vanquish tier if Pragmata was committed to being a bit of a tougher game, but it's still a total blast. The postgame giving you repeatable EX versions of every story boss and a bunch of challenge rooms giving a greatest hits of all the game's gimmicks is some best in genre tier stuff. The story is stupid, the ending is dumber (I absolutely hate the ending, but saying that half-spoils it because there's only like four ways you can blow an ending in a story this half-assed), and the sound is a bit weird, the game has a great soundtrack but it's totally drowned out half the time unless you play with headphones. Saying Diana and Hugh are great protagonists feels like it is missing the point as the entire game is totally designed around those two and Capcom spent as much money as they did on RE4make's incidental stuff to give these two dorks as many lines as possible. There are MULTIPLE dialogue exchanges for when you retry bosses where are heroes lament getting their butts kicked while dropping vague useless hints. The entire game is engineered to make you like them.
