Another post for the "Air is filtered and safe on planes" people. Not during boarding, it isn't! Cabin air is often bled from the rear of the HPC (High Pressure Compressor). Even on very modern aircraft passengers are inhaling toxins, Kerosine droplets from other aircraft, soot, Synthetic Oil and heavy metal particles from Blade tip rub, combustion products from same or other aircraft... Manufacturers and Airlines argument Passengers poison themselves own free will
