@janschiefer@mastodon.social i liked muscle memory revealing things about older versions of VT100 code in that a trick I STILL HAD in muscle memory to clear the screen to keep teachers from seeing what you were doing popped out and _didn't work_ on a post-VT102 VT100 clone terminal. watching people talking about your shit as stuff they're researching is a weird feeling but i can see why the doctor likes it (and I've already had my shit in museums so i've already been down _that_ nonsense ladder) i think my favourite exhibits tho' were the massive HP desktop calculators from 1969, 1971, and 1972 (which ran BASIC!), with their personality cartridges. so _extremely_ cool. if you didn't look at those go look at them tomorrow, they were great :D
