Yeah that’s not gonna happen. It makes too much sense. The Democrats need one feel good piece of legislation every decade to show the poor that they give a shit about them and raising minimum wage is that legislation. For a short time, everyone gets fooled and thinks that Democrats actually give a shit about them. Meanwhile, for the next decade they just continue to fuck them in the ass until the next minimum wage increase they can pat themselves on the back.
