lemmy is basically NSFW because of this, yes.
i don’t get why it being pushed, but I suppose it’s just the userbase is very active and passionate about that stuff.

I’ve been blocking communities and posters as they pop up. It works until someone spins up a new instance for it, but then you can just block that as well.
