Fellow writers beware! I got an email from a major publisher a couple of days ago and I was confused why it was so obviously written with AI. I had a brief exchange, as the responses seemed semi-legit, but something still smelled off. This is it:

@elliotjaystocks @iDGS Friend of mine, who is a self published author, got one of these earlier in the year but smelled a rat and asked my opinion. Told him to bin it which he did. Sadly there will be some self publishing authors who fall for this nasty scam.
