Remembering Steve Kurtz: an evening devoted to exploring the life and work of Steve Kurtz, pioneer in bio art and tactical media. Kurtz' radical approach embraced “any kind of cultural hybrid; artist, scientist, technician, craftsperson, theorist, activist.” This hybridity also brought him into trouble: in 2004 the FBI charged him under the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act.
