I've been hearing tons of news about the US "banning Linux" because it requires that every "operating system" have age verification I'm reaally confused, what does that even mean? Is the US trying outlaw root users? Centralize Linux, track down every independent maintainer and get rid of them?? Close source the Linux kernel?? Because if not, I don't understand how they could enforce age verification and "make Linux illegal." #linux #uspolitics
