That should be a basic expectation of a teaching academic in any contentious field. The fact we feel we should laud it when it happens is awful.

@Printdevil @Taskerland @devilsjunkshop I think we can both expect it as a norm of the profession *and* recognize that it can be difficult to achieve and therefore offer positive reinforcement when people do the right thing.
