@Retreival9096 @nomadskateboarding@mastodon.social I was excited about Proton. Then I watched this 'non-profit' start acquiring companies to build an ecosystem. And I'm done putting all my eggs in the single basket of one ecosystem. This answer is yes, and this corporate technobabble is yet another sign that they want to become Google-like rather than serve as some indie alternative. I still have an account, but I don't use it. I'm 100% over Proton as an entity I can trust.
