also if you think FASP is a privacy nightmare because it's sucking up your posts, I'd advise you not to look up how ActivityPub works, lol. It's the same deal.

also, if you're going to whinge about centralisation, I have bad news for you: The Fediverse is essentially micro-centralised. If your instance dies for any reason, your online presence on the Fediverse dies with it, with very little recourse, and some of the steps taken to address this are not consistently applied (in comparison to AT Protocol/Bluesky where recovery and migration are a core part of the protocol). If you wanted true decentralisation, then idk, you'd be on Nostr by now. tl;dr: FASP is perfectly fine for how fedi works!
