@jackemled before the MacBook Neo I would never have recommended macOS but it's generally pretty hard not to recommend that. Meanwhile on the Linux set up I put on for my family (specifically Aurora since it's immutable and auto-updates), I had audio problems where it was crackling and to this day, I don't know how to fix it. That's when I decided to just throw Windows 11 on there for the time being.
