It's a wide world and there are an incredible number of people in it, all with unique viewpoints. We are not talking about someone casually admitting that they dabble in cannibalism here. But all nuance goes out the window.
They are really passing judgement on the judgement of that person, not on the technology. The hubris.

And just to be absolutely clear, I'm talking about software developers who express clear knowledge of the limitations and risks of using an LLM. For some people that does not matter.
