@ewenmcneill @simplicitarian I (call me a cynic) had assumed the 8-minute slots recently introduced for blood tests at private lab Awanui were the result of some sort of "time-and-motion" analysis, squishing in more appointments each day, adding more pressure on staff, and not allowing for anything untoward - patients fainting, having veins that are hard to find (that's me), the system having failed to send the referral through (also has happened to me, and it was a system glitch, not human error).
