@stefanct @kernellogger It seems rather odd if you think of a single user with their primary end device.
It does not seem odd if you think of a larger scale, for example:
- production servers with Debian stable, test servers with Debian proposed-updates, CI with all kinds of OSs incl. Debian testing.

@SchwarzeLocke i beg to differ. i was thinking about companies that use stable kernels exactly to avoid chasing regressions and security patches all the time because it's not their main business. if those kernels are used on long-living products (yeah, those still exist) the hardware will definitely be older than 10 years (rather 20-30). and those machines still need to get updates (CRA)
