When i started reading #streetwise by Lloyd Blankfein i thought 'here we go... a Goldman Sachs fluff piece' . I am not saying its not, but that mindset allowed me to enjoy it more. There were at least 3x more jokes than in a lot of comedy books I have had to groan to get through. It might be you have to know about business to get the jokes though, I'm not sure. Its good from beginning to end. Although I glazed over when he was writing about intricacies of arbitrage and whatever, I thought i might have to re-read those parts to figure them out, but it didn't matter. The best part is reading about the 07 market deal making. You also get a glimpse of the world from the position of an important CEO. If you are interested in finance or global business, I think you have to read it. #books
