@dangoodin RedHat https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/cve-2026-31431 Debian https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2026-31431 Ubuntu https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2026-31431 Suse: https://www.suse.com/security/cve/CVE-2026-31431.html Arch: https://security.archlinux.org/CVE-2026-31431 Fedora fixed: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2460538 Probably Greg Kroah-Hartman or Herbert Xu would be the best source, I guess. 🤔 https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id=8b88d99341f139e23bdeb1027a2a3ae10d341d82 #CopyFail

@nemo @dangoodin Looks like Devuan is not affected: https://github.com/theori-io/copy-fail-CVE-2026-31431/issues/34 Suse in progress, Tumble Weed and Slow Roll have probably backported patches already https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2026-31431 Don't know Cachy OS but Kernel seems to be newer 7.0.2-2-cachyos Debian stable seems still vulnerable but forky in testing seems fixed. Strange thought they would security patch stable first. Ok, that's all I have for now. BTW Ubuntu website still down https://status.canonical.com/ #linux #escurity #copyfail
