@tim_lavoie You made me look it up -- I had no idea forsythia was not native to new england. I guess I apologize for planting it 30 years ago when we had a bare patch in need of some cover? Though the photo was not my land; there's a LOT of it everywhere in NE.

@nosrednayduj Oh, I don’t know if they’re related! Scotch broom was introduced in the west coast for sure; loves disturbed soil, so roadways get a ton of it, and nothing eats it either really.
