U.S. Demands Access to Europeans’ Private Data or Say Goodbye to Visa-Free Travel
Sounds good. I'd rather have some control over my data and need a visa. This kind of bilateral visa agreement also works both ways. I don't see an offer (or desire) to have data on US persons shares to the EU.

@ChrisJohnRiley@infosec.exchange The same (or more) private data is required for a visa, plus it requires approval in advance of travel.

@ChrisJohnRiley@infosec.exchange I agree, as someone who has had a greencard they almost certainly know more about me than most. I think if they want this access the EU should just opt out entirely and revoke visa free access for Americans and see how long that lasts. I have no plans to visit the USA any time soon. Then again no idea what the UK would do, probably acquiesce with a shrug.
