Absolutely: it’s part of a turning tide against rampant and flagrant nonconsensual use of art. At the same time, remember these companies do this for cold, calculated reasons; Vimeo may stand to gain more by positioning itself against AI-justified theft than by trying to squeeze money from scrapers, but it still uses AI.
