@RickiTarr I beg to differ. This is about humanism, simply a matter of respecting people. It would not be so bad, if primitive superstition apologists kept their fairy tales to themselves. But they do not. They poison people's minds with nonsense. They try to force societies back to Bronze Age models. They intentionally make others' life hell: see US Republicans, see apartheid country Israel, see Afghanistan. So, indeed, let us take the rational attitude. For anybody, who expects ancient nomad campfire stories to be taken seriously, I say: Make your imaginary ghost to show up, in a physical form, with proper ID, for a public miracle making test. Should not be a problem for an allegedly omniscient, omnipotent, loving and existing thing. If it passes, we'll talk. If not, case closed.
