Vinyl records have had a resurgence in popularity in the past 10-15 years, but *cassettes* are the brand-new-nostalgia... probably in no small part due to "Stranger Things" and similar pop culture throwbacks? CDs are slowly coming back around as well. Most independent record stores and artists still release new music on them. Physical mediums for music overall are becoming more valuable for fans..
