@arichtman@eigenmagic.net @troberts@theblower.au FWIW I asked my plumber about instant gas last time he was here and he told me he'd do that if I really wanted, but he might need to upsize my gas line from the street to supply it and I'd be better off with a rooftop system or just solar-boosted electric.

@timixretroplays@digipres.club @troberts@theblower.au yea I'm very keen to keep it electric since we are getting a big system. It's the instant bit that's tricky there apparently. One can imagine the power draw is huge

@timixretroplays@digipres.club @arichtman@eigenmagic.net @troberts@theblower.au there are also options to use a heat pump plus gas, if you absolutely must, but most installations seem to be solar, heat pump, hot water tank, additional heating rod.
