@elizayer @leeloo 1/ This bothered me for a few reasons yesterday.
I initially made the same mistake — it was momentary — and I was trained on heat transfer and fluid flow long ago. Fortunately I second guessed myself before I wrote anything. 🤣
There of course is the difference between educated and learned...
But there is also the popular understanding of space. Everyone sees people freeze in space in sci-fi. No one sees people boil.
And so, maybe that perpetuates it? I don't know.

@elizayer @leeloo 2/ Unlike the Earth, most of us have not experienced 'Space'. It's this other-space where there is a lot more fiction than science. And over the last decades, there is a decided bias over what comes into our world through a screen versus what we experience. We need more overheating in sci-fi space! #sciencefiction #space
