In the other news got myself a new road bike today. The old bike served a good 12.000 km, but it now needs so many new parts that my plan is to fix the bare minimum to get it to a working state again and then try selling 🥹

So while I am waiting for the bike to actually ship to this neck of the woods (in 1-2 weeks?), I am just admiring this bit of detail. …and yeah, got the same color as in the photo because seemingly Arielle can only have red bikes now 🚵🏻♀️

@ariel@front-end.social Soon old bike has been stripped from everything but breaks, has been converted to fixie for ease of maintenance and becomes a "cycle to railway station" bike.
