@mitsuhiko I don’t like the word “equity” precisely because it has too many meanings. The historical aspect of fairness has essentially made modern-day sales pitches sound nicer. A startup giving employees ownership stakes is seen as something fair, just because we happen to use the same word and the concepts are jumbled up in people’s brains.
