@itdm5j21 @analogfusion Amen to that! My favorite combo is the fine 105mm f/2.5 Ai-S on my Nikon D700.

@tomnorthfilm @analogfusion Yes indeed, simply stunning combination! Athough the one off brand lens I have is the Tokina 100mm f2.8 AT-X PRO 1:1 Macro - superb also. Currently I'm mostly using 'Nikkor afs 35mm f1.8 ed g' on my D800. I do really like the old push/pull 80-200 f2.0 with my D700. Though big and, yes really, heavy - but Oh my.... 👍🏻📷😊
