"I tuned in to watch the livestream of the city council work session where they would be discussing the proposed Real-Time Intelligence Center. Ten seconds in, my jaw hit the floor: Axon and Flock employees were IN THE ROOM. Not only that, they basically got to give city council a sales pitch, repeating their typical talking points that largely went uncontested. Not present in the room: a civil rights expert, technology expert, or community representation of any kind who was capable of challenging their claims. ...
