Went to a Loblaws store self checkout and found: a) a camera aimed at my face; b) a camera aimed at the scanner; c) ai recognition of items. There were no indications of filming, consent, change or procedure. Therefore, I am no longer a client. It will make life a little more difficult but will make my world a little less Orwellian. #noai #Loblaws #Privacy #Disgust
