Choosing a license for such projects is also particularly hard.

It also eliminated trust. If I release a moderately complex project tomorrow, or two, I would instantly be questioned whether that's AI gen, because it has to be. Regardless of a proven history of releasing rather complex projects in the past, when LLM's didn't exist yet. Whether you like it (or use it) or not, the whole thing already is a major disruption of the industry, FOSS in particular.
