Slack has been identified as the Ain Soph of the Qabbala as well as the Tao. It pervades space and fuels time. Remember Einstein's Theory of Relativity: E = MC^2. Essentially, Einstein stated that matter is a slowly vibrating form of energy. By the same token, energy is a slowly vibrating form of Slack.
