@jblake@mastodon.social @mjtsai@mastodon.social Yep. The amount of shit adobe sprays on your system is… A LOT. Half of it is to prevent pirating/spy on you. Of course, it’s VERY pirate-able anyway.

@octothorpe @jblake @mjtsai I can’t believe how long it took me to jettison Adobe CC — probably 2 years after Affinity’s apps showed me it was possible to go Adobe-free. But I had 2 decades of daily use of Photoshop/Illustrator. That psychological barrier was stronger than clients or suppliers needing .psd or .ai files.
