@Boerps Sure, it's helpful even if you know a language quite well but miss some special vocabular. I learned French and English at school for many years. But only use French occasionally and always there are vocabs I simply don't know or cannot remember. Even in English. So I click on the translate link in my toot window and see it in German. And then :ablobcatattentionreverse: I remember the words.

@energisch_ @wnd It’s the same old problem – these tools make me feel unsure. It’s fine when I’m speaking, mind you. But when it comes to writing, I suddenly can’t remember how to spell things. I learnt English and French at school, yes. I can manage a bit of Italian, but only when reading. And I’ve only just noticed this language setting in the browser. I think that’s what they call selective perception. :mastocrazyeyes:

@energisch_ @Boerps meine Fremdspachelernen war kurzlebt, nur zwei Jahren in der Schule auf Französische oder Walisische studierte. Also nachdem ich 30 war, züruck zu Sprachlernen beginnt.
