Now he's shared the sad news I can be less vaguetooty.
Rob's lovely mom died today. It was not unexpected, she's been dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's for a while, she had been in hospital for weeks, she was very frail and much of her brightness was diminished. We got a smile out of her on Tuesday and I will cherish that forever, along with the memories of all the fun times we shared over the years.
We got on very well indeed. We shared the same taste in wine. And I really really like her son an awful lot.
I will miss my lovely mudderinlaw.
