@JorisMeys Designing the #rstats exam in a way that does not require RStudio is not an option?

@devSJR @JorisMeys you can technically use another IDE, or just a plain txt file and the see if it runs correctly I guess But yeah, super annoying how much posit is leaning on that garbage

@devSJR It's an exam data science using R... We have VS Code or Positron as another IDE on the exam PC's, but those have the same problem. RStudio has been so good that they essentially destroyed all other options (like Eclipse/StatET, or Tinn-R from back in the day, or ...). So in class not using RStudio would be doing our students a disservice, and we can't use another IDE on the exam than the one used in class. Hence the light swearing in my office this morning :-)
