I tried homed once for a few workstations. Iirc I couldn’t make it work via network for multiple stations and multiple users. Something about the user creation process cam only be done once per home dir and then you can’t do another workstation.

How long ago was your test? I hope there is some development on these concepts. I like the idea of homed.

The first time, where there was an Idea to separate the Computer from Userprofile. The first time I heard about that, I assumed that in a short time we will have home servers for selfhosting. Sadly nothing happened for a long time.
