@james_little Yes it is! The Civil War of 1812 continues themes from Taylor's earlier book, The Divided Ground, which is also worth checking out.

@brian_gettler I also enjoyed Taylor's William Cooper's Town, a history of Cooperstown, the purported birthplace of baseball, founded by the father of early American novelist James Fenimore Cooper.
