LB: honestly this is one of those ones that used to hang the emulators and i could go back now knowing much more about their internals to tinker on that somewhat, if it wasn't that I concluded a couple years back that if a trillion dollar company wants to kill the past, who am I as a very very tangentially adjacent person to spend my own forks I have very few of anymore to try to offset that?

and also, like international relations being what they have become was sort of the proximal straw: if this is the world they actively want, have at it I guess and I'll be where I'm at when you change your mind, but there were many more on the pile already tbh
