@baller3000 Seriously, GNOME dependency on systemd is way older than systemd recent commitment to implementing an age verification API (based on data provided by the machine admin). Furthermore, a GUI application designed for Gnome can still run under other DEs. And bonus https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/GNOME/GNOME_without_systemd/Gentoo (instructions for KDE also exist)
