The first screenshot is of a two dimensional map that is useful in creating and understanding the relations between the various tasks. This helps identifying gaps and make it easy to organize the order of work.
The second screenshot is a list of tasks which most project management tools show, you might even think of it as the first column in a kanban board, but thanks to the relations created in the two dimensional map, we have tasks that can be started with at the top.

As tasks are completed the blocked items will move up to the starter area. Now imagine a planning of 480 hours (2 week sprint with 6 team members) in which you don't have the ability to visualize all the different tasks and relations. Planning becomes easy when you can quickly organize the steps. (3/3)
