@belldotbz @SudoCat I've got another account on mastodon.social I use (a LOT) for different stuff to this account I have on indieweb.social. I've not personally noticed any cesspittyness or defederation or anything negative about it at all (aside from the odd idiot, but, hey, it's social media, whaddya expect? 🙃) I keep telling people put off by the "complexity" of Mastodon: joining isn't complicated - just sign up for mastodon.social. Move if you really want to once you've got into it. Simple.
